1. What does your piece of art say about what it means to be human?

I think this art peice is showing the beauty of being "Black" for one.. and just like.. the wonders of life and bright colors

2. In the worldview communicated by your piece, what place do humans hold?

I'm not really sure what this questions means, so I'm just going to take a guess at what its asling...

I think this picture is showing maybe freedom of the humans! and like all the beauty that we behold in life! And just how human nature can take a hold on us and makes everything so pretty

3. Does your piece say anything about the human relationship to nature or to the divine?

Yes.. The picture explains everything for itself! It's showing human nature in the background with the sky and everything, divine is the beauty of the african american woman in the picture as well!

So the picture pretty much explains itself

4. Does your piece say anything about distinctions among humans based on class, race, gender religion, etc.?

I think my picture has alot to do with race&gender.. Just from the beauty that its a woman and that it a strong classy black woman! so, to me this pretty much has to do with race and gender =]

5. Which specific observations or research discoveries lead you to your answers?

Well there wasn't a specific observation or discovery, the picture really speaks for itself! and gives off its own explanation of its meanings! So.. I got my answers from just looking at the picture and thinking of the answers..
