5. Where are you at in the project? What more do you need to accomplish? What are your questions? Should I change the presentation time limit to
5 - 7 minutes instead of 7 - 10 minutes?

Im very far behind and Im well aware of that.. I need a little more understanding of the project! Its kind of confusing and theres alot to do =(

I need to accomplish like the second half of the project Grr!! Its soo irritating when you cant get it all done ..

And yes Changing it to 5-7 would be alot better! cause..

Im a little shy... =)

4. What did you learn today? What challenges did you have or do you perceive having in this project? What are your next steps? What questions do you have?

What did I learn today? Lets see.. Well I kinda figured out how to do the blog things and what our pages and stuff is supposed to look like.. so thats good =) and now i kinda understand what our slideshows are supposed to be like! (Powerpoints - not slideshows) ..

My next steps i think are to get started on my other blogs and find a picture .. well i got a picture but find information and stuff about it cause' i'm still not finding much about the painting and the artist

Questions: Do we put the information about the artist in the powerpoint?
Its 5 slides right? And 3 pictures? and what are the other two pages?
I have more questions i just cant think of them right now... =(

3. What piece of art or pieces of art have you narrowed down your choice to? What did you learn today? What are your next steps? What will you need to spend your time doing on Friday in the computer lab?

Well so far I have just one painting for the blog thing!
I dont have the other two for my slideshow thing so.. grr yeah! its kind of irritating!
Today I learned a little bit more about what i was supposed to be doing on the project =) Thats a good thing (kinda)
My next steps are to get the Picture blog finished, Bibliography, and the Slideshow thing =) hopefully i can finish it.....
Well since im late on this and just got going.. I actuallyb just started on friday so yepp.. Thats iit =)

2. What search engines did you use? How useful did you find the online resources? What did you learn today? Have you chosen a piece of art that depicts the human form? Reflect and summarize on what you have completed thus far in this project

Search engines?.. I used google (like everybody did) and I used a little bit of yahoo.. but it seems like i cant find much information on my artist and his artwork! It's like his work is there and its soo good but I can't find no information about him! kindsa weird... The online sources seem a little bit more useful than books because for my artist, I don't think there's much information on him in books either so idk (i don't know) =)
Yes I have found a art that duplicates human form! It's really pretty with all the colors and all..
SO far I haven't gotten that much finished because of me being sick but I'm getting close to finishing SOME things lol

1. Write about your experiences thus far with the Human Form in Art Research Project. Have you chosen a piece of art? What questions do you still have? What are your next steps?

Hmm.. My experiences so far with the "Human Form in Art Research Project" is kind of difficult so far! Like, I was sick the whole week of explaining it so im very far behind and im kind of lost!
Its kind of confusing because, Well (Duh) I wasn't here to learn about it..
But I'm trying my hardest to catch up with everything.. Hopefully I can get it done because.. Grr! Its DUE NEXT WEEK

1. What does your piece of art say about what it means to be human?

I think this art peice is showing the beauty of being "Black" for one.. and just like.. the wonders of life and bright colors

2. In the worldview communicated by your piece, what place do humans hold?

I'm not really sure what this questions means, so I'm just going to take a guess at what its asling...

I think this picture is showing maybe freedom of the humans! and like all the beauty that we behold in life! And just how human nature can take a hold on us and makes everything so pretty

3. Does your piece say anything about the human relationship to nature or to the divine?

Yes.. The picture explains everything for itself! It's showing human nature in the background with the sky and everything, divine is the beauty of the african american woman in the picture as well!

So the picture pretty much explains itself

4. Does your piece say anything about distinctions among humans based on class, race, gender religion, etc.?

I think my picture has alot to do with race&gender.. Just from the beauty that its a woman and that it a strong classy black woman! so, to me this pretty much has to do with race and gender =]

5. Which specific observations or research discoveries lead you to your answers?

Well there wasn't a specific observation or discovery, the picture really speaks for itself! and gives off its own explanation of its meanings! So.. I got my answers from just looking at the picture and thinking of the answers..
